Guinness Nigeria Plc, has declared a revenue of N206.88 billion for the financial year ended June 30, 2022, against N160.42 billion it declared in the corresponding period of 2021, translating to a 29 per cent increase.
Omobola Johnson, the board chairman of Guinness Nigeria Plc, made this known at the company’s 72nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday in Lagos.
Mrs Johnson said that in spite of economic headwinds, the company posted an impressive and laudable performance with strong growth in all key categories.
She said that the company’s profit before tax grew by 310 per cent from N5.7 billion to N23.6 billion, while profit for the year increased from N1.25 billion to N15.6 billion in 2022.
The Guinness Board Chairman also declared the payment of dividend of N7.14 for every ordinary share or 50 kobo upon approval.
