Jigawa state governor, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar,
Monday, inaugurated over 15,000 campaign council members for his expected successor Alhaji Umar Namdi and other candidates on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The governor urged them to ensure that the party swept all elections come 2023 general elections.
The governor gave the charge while delivering his inaugural speech at the new APC states secretariat along Abdullahi Maikano
in Dutse metropolis.
He said that with calibre of members of the council and considering the huge successes recorded by his administration within the last seven years, his party would defeat candidates of other political parties without tears.
He thanked the entire people of Jigawa state for love passion and
enthusiasm they showed him.
“I thank all of you, I have nothing to offer to you except to express my deep appreciation…’’, he noted.
