Dumebi Kachukwu, presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), in this interview with EMEKA NZE, says use of money to buy votes is the greatest threat to Nigeria’s elections and canvasses that the 40 million population of voters who are not challenged financially and who hitherto abstained from voting should now come out to decide the outcome of the next presidential election 

What makes it unique for Dumebi Kachukwu of the ADC to be president?

I think that basically for those who are running, they have something motivating them to run for office. For me, I’m running for office because I don’t  believe Nigeria can continue to go the direction that we are going. I believe that for too long, we have left people who we consider as career politicians or a certain category of people to man the affairs of our country and at this point, those of us who are typically known as the silent majority, we must now step up to be patriotic towards rescuing our country…
