Abia 2023: Why I left APC for LP – Alex Otti

The governorship candidate of Labour Party in Abia state, Dr Alex Otti has explained that he left his former party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) to Labour Party because APC was not in the mood to conduct transparent primaries but schemed to favour a particular person.

He added that the party set out to manipulate the electoral process through the zoning of the gubernatorial primaries to favour one person which he said was undemocratic.

The ex-banker turned politician noted that he wrote a petition to this effect against his former party, APC, asking for refund of his money because the mood of the party was not ready to conduct a free, fair and transparent primaries.
