Singer Aaron Carter, 34, was found dead in his California home on Saturday, reports say.
The troubled musician was found in his bathtub after authorities received a call around 11 a.m. saying a male had drowned in a tub, sources say, according to TMZ.
The 34-year-old had a history of drug and mental health-related problems, as well as run-ins with the law.
In September, Carter revealed he had “voluntarily” checked himself into an out-patient program at a rehabilitation center, Page Six reports. The singer-turned-rapper was fighting for custody of his son, 11-month-old Prince.
Carter is survived by Prince and other family members, including his brother Nick Carter, of “Backstreet Boys” fame.
