Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has presented a budget estimate of N245bn for the 2023 fiscal year before the State House Of Assembly.
The governor allocated over N144billion, representing 59 per cent for capital expenditure, while over N100billion, amounting to 41 per cent, was allocated for recurrent.

The budget tagged, “Budget of Consolidated and Prosperity II,” was designed as a result of the need to continue consolidating the fiscal position, in safeguarding the allocations on the education sector, health and infrastructure, among others, according to the Governor.
Before the presentation of the budget by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, the Coalition of The Partnership For Advocacy In Child and Family Health, was at the State House of Assembly, advocating for improvement in the health sector, to reduce child-maternal mortality in the state.
