Kaduna: 12,000 PDP members defect to APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for Kaduna state, Sen. Uba Sani has assured those decamping from People’s Democratic Party and other parties that they have equal status and rights like other members of the ruling party and they will be fairly treated. 

Speaking when he received 12,817 PDP decampees in Giwa, which include a former commissioner, woman and youth leaders on Sunday, Sen. Sani said the opposition party is now completely non existent in Giwa local government. 

He noted that membership of People’s Democratic Party is depleting in Kaduna state daily, with the decamping of its supporters to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the run up to the 2023 election.

“In APC, there is no discrimination, those that joined today are equal in status as those who joined when the party was formed. We are a one and united family,” he said, while advising the people of Giwa to vote for APC candidates in all the 2023 elections.
