President Muhammadu Buhari and National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator Abdullahi Adamu, Tuesday, led governors of the party, ministers, National Working Committee (NWC)members and other party leaders to Jos, Plateau state to flag off the presidential campaign rally of the party.
At the rally, President Buhari, assisted by Adamu, handed over the party’s flag to Asíwájú Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who said the February 2023 election was to him a fight to define the nation’s soul.
Buhari, who reiterated his promise to lead the party’s campaign for the 2023 presidential election said: “The party has taken a stand and we are going to support and campaign for him to be elected president of Nigeria.
“I am not going to read a long speech, I am here to hand over our party flag to him.”
