Elon Musk says Twitter will relaunch its verification next week: Companies will get GOLD check mark, governments get gray and people (celebrities or not) will have a blue tick if verified

  • Twitter will roll out verified gold and gray check marks as it relaunches the coveted blue check service next Friday, December 2
  • All verified accounts will be manually authenticated before the check is activated, CEO Elon Musk said
  • ‘Gold check for companies, gray check for governments, blue for individuals (celebrities or not),’ Musk said in a tweet
