AS Nigerians brace for the 2023 general elections that kick off with the bellwether presidential polls on Saturday, national and global attention is riveted on the key actors whose actions or missteps will determine success or failure. For the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), the Independent National Electoral Commission, and its Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, the police, the military and every other civilian and paramilitary security agencies, history beckons.
