Former child actor who played Ben in BBC sitcom Outnumbered seen holding packets of ‘drugs’ in Asia

Claire played tired mum Sue Brockman in the hit series. She would often be seen chasing her three on-screen children around, squabbling with her sister or looking after her elderly father. Nowadays, the 57-year-old is still scooping up roles of TV, most recently in crime drama series McDonald & Dodds, in which she played Chief Superintendent Mary Ormond. She’s also had roles on the stage since filming of Outnumbered wrapped in 2016 in Prism, Nightfall and A Day in The Death of Joe Egg. She has also sparked a relationship with her former co-star on the show, Hugh Dennis, after her marriage to director Charles Palmer ended in 2016.
