  • Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson’s new deal at the Emirates is reportedly set to be confirmed today.

    James Benge claims the Englishman is set to pen a four-year deal to remain in north London.

    Nelson had interest from AC Milan and other Premier League clubs but has decided his career lies with Mikel Arteta’s men.

  • Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement with Ajax for Jurrien Timber.

    Transfer expert David Ornstein reports the Gunners are set to pay an initial £34.2million for the centre-back, with a further £4.3m in realistic add-ons.

    Timber will now travel to north London for a medical and was said to have verbally agreed personal terms over a £90,000-per-week contract last week, but that still needs to be formally finalised.

    But barring any late setbacks, Timber looks to be joining Mikel Arteta’s side.

  • talkSPORT’s Ray Parlour has revealed Man City star Jack Grealish has asked to go out drinking with him and Alan Brazil.

    The Arsenal legend said: “Well he has texted me a few times. He just said, ‘Can I come out with you and Alan one day?’

    “He said, ‘I’d love to come out with you and Alan’, but I said, ‘I don’t think Pep [Guardiola] would like that’.

    “I said, ‘Jack, when you get your day off, 10:15 I’ll meet you over the road at the London Bridge Hotel for a debrief, but you might not go back home for a couple of days!’”

  • Arsenal have confirmed that in-demand Ethan Nwaneri has signed a scholarship deal with the club to end uncertainty over future.

    Nwaneri became the youngest player in Premier League history last season when he was brought on against Brentford aged just 15 years and 181 days.

    Man City and Chelsea have been heavily linked with him in recent months.

    But Arsenal have fought off the compeannounced he has signed a new contract alongside 12 other scholars.

    England star Rice is to undergo a medical at Arsenal on Friday after the Gunners finally reached an agreement on a fee with West Ham.

    The signing of the Hammers captain for £100million plus £5m in add-ons will not only break Arsenal’s own transfer record but also see Rice become the most expensive Englishman in Premier League history.

    Arsenal launched their third and final bid last week with an offer which saw champions Manchester City pull out of the race to sign the 24-year-old.

    West Ham were not happy with the payment structure of the Arsenal deal but, after further negotiations, it is understood an agreement is in place.

    Rice is now free to sort personal terms and will have his medical at the Emirates soon.

    Rice, who lifted the Europa Conference League title in what now looks set to be his final West Ham appearance, has been Arsenal’s top target this summer.

    He will become Mikel Arteta’s second summer signing, following the addition of Germany forward Kai Havertz from Chelsea.

    Ajax defender Jurrien Timber also remains a priority for the Gunners, who head to Germany for a pre-season training camp next week.

  • Santi Cazorla is being linked with a possible return to Arsenal after ending his spell in Qatar.

    The Spaniard left Villarreal in 2020 to link up with former international teammate Xavi at Al Sadd.

    He enjoyed a decent record in the Middle East, with 38 goals and 38 assists in 96 games, but is now considering his next move after his contract ended.

    Now 38, the creative midfielder has been linked with returning to Villarreal for a FOURTH spell at his boyhood club.

    But a move back to Arsenal could be on the cards too, with Cazorla opening up over a possible Gunners return during an interview in January.

    “We’ll see,” Cazorla responded. “If I have the possibility to come back, I will be back. I don’t know which position in the club, as a coach or sports director. But of course, I would like to come back in the future.”

  • Arsenal chiefs have hailed the arrival of Alessia Russo.

    The England striker has joined the Gunners on a free from Manchester United.

    Arsenal Head Coach Jonas Eidevall said: “Alessia is one of the best forwards in the world and has significant potential to continue growing and improving.

    “She has a proven track record of scoring goals in the WSL and at international level and we believe she will be a quality addition to our forward line, so we’re all delighted to have brought her to the club.”

    And Arsenal Head of Women’s Football Clare Wheatley added: “We’re delighted to have signed Alessia and I’m sure our supporters will be excited by this news.

  • Arsenal have reportedly opened talks with RB Leipzig over German midfielder Benjamin Henrichs.

    According to Sky Germany, the 26-year-old is being eyed as a replacement for the outgoing Granit Xhaka.

    Xhaka is on the verge of leaving the Emirates in a £21million move to Bayer Leverkusen.

    And while Declan Rice’s mega-money arrival is close to being done, Arsenal are seemingly keen to bolster their midfield further with Henrichs.

    • Rio Ferdinand has claimed that Arsenal would not be able to sign Kylian Mbappe.

      The report adds that Henrichs’s contract expires next summer and he could provide a cheap option.
