Mason Mount is officially a Manchester United player after weeks of negotiations with Chelsea, but before he left, he posted a goodbye message to Blues fans.
However, Chelsea fan Rory Jennings wasn’t happy with the video and slammed it on talkSPORT.
Speaking to Ade Oladipo, he said: “This video, this platitude, it’s obviously so scripted and it’s treating people like idiots. You cannot have your cake and eat it, you cannot sign for United but try and keep Chelsea fans happy.
“You cannot appease Chelsea fans when you’re trying to score goals against Chelsea for United. Chelsea and United are rivals, don’t get me wrong we’re not historic rivals, it’s not Chelsea/Leeds, it’s not Chelsea/Tottenham, it’s not Chelsea/Arsenal even.
“But United are a significant rival, they’re a club with which we have a lot of antipathy, we’ve had a lot of back and forth, we’ve challenged for titles. There is animosity amongst the fans and he has opted to sign with them,…

Chelsea were willing to offer Mason Mount a similar salary to Reece James to convince him to sign a new contract.
That’s according to The Athletic, with the 24-year-old being officially announced as a Manchester United player on Wednesday.
Mount leaves Chelsea after 18 years at the club and has taken the no.7 shirt at Old Trafford.
As per The Athletic’s report, the Blues considered him and James to be ‘at the same level’ but did not want to offer the midfielder more of a salary than the defender.
James signed a new six-year deal at the club last summer and is now the club’s highest-paid defender ever, but Mount has opted to leave Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea target Ethan Nwaneri has signed a scholarship deal with Arsenal to end uncertainty over his future.
Nwaneri became the youngest player in Premier League history last season when he was brought on for the Gunners against Brentford aged just 15 years and 181 days.
Man City and Chelsea have been heavily linked with him in recent months but Arsenal have fought off the competition and announced he has signed a new contract alongside 12 other scholars.

Arsenal legend Paul Merson has slated Chelsea for selling Mason Mount and Kai Havertz.
Merson told Sky Sports: “Let’s be honest, selling Mason Mount and Kai Havertz is not good business from Chelsea. I just don’t get it.
“It may make sense if Chelsea had to bring some money in, but there is no point getting money in at the expense of missing out on the top four, which itself will lose the club more money.
“Manchester United and Arsenal are going to be in the mix for the top four next season along with Chelsea, so why would you weaken yourself by selling two of your best players to direct rivals?
“Chelsea fans will say Mount and Havertz didn’t have great seasons last season, but they are proper players who will definitely improve the teams they go to.”

Reece James has told Mason Mount he will ‘always be blue at heart’ after his move to Manchester United was confirmed.
Mount has swapped Stamford Bridge for Old Trafford in a £55million deal, where he has penned a five-year contract.
And in an emotional Instagram post, James looked back over his time with his former teammate, posting pictures of the pair throughout the years at Chelsea.
Captioning the upload, James said: “Ma [sic] brother man. Where do I start.
“I’ve know you since six years old, we grew together and took similar paths in breaking into the first team.
“Something that seemed virtually impossible. I’m proud to say I done it along side you.
“I’ve seen you as a little boy and watched you grow into the man and player you are today, you’ve done yourself and your family proud.
“We’ve had some of the best days of our career together that’ll stick with me forever. It’s sad to say goodbye.
“I wish you nothing but happiness, good health and the best of luck on your new adventure! You’ll always be blue at heart!”
New Man United man Mount replied: “My brother from day one, so many memories shared together! So proud of you, thank you RJ.”

Christian Pulisic is said to have his heart set on a move to AC Milan over Lyon.
The Chelsea winger is free to leave the club this summer and the Blues have received bids from both clubs, with the French giants willing to pay £21million.
Milan’s first proposal was just £12m, but the club have returned with an improved offer worth around £19m, but it remains to be seen if that is enough for Chelsea.
The Athletic report Pulisic has agreed terms with the Italian giants, but his suitors might have to slightly up their bid.

Now that Mason Mount’s move to Manchester United is finally completed, the Blues are expected to ramp up their incoming transfer business.
Moises Caicedo is the club’s top midfield target, but young Brazilian Matheus Franca is also someone who Todd Boehly and co are actively interested in.
Fabrizio Romano claims the Blues are now locked in talks with Flamengo over a £17million deal, although the Brazilian giants want north of £20m for Franca, who has interest from Newcastle, West Ham and Crystal Palace.

“You’ve decided that they are a better option for you financially and possibly for your footballing career, but don’t try it with us now. Don’t put out this video, it’s so, so transparent.
“I can see exactly what he’s trying to do and any Chelsea fan that is bought in by this… it’s so obvious what’s going on and you just need to employ an element of critical thinking and you can see exactly what’s going on here. He doesn’t care.”
