Two IRS whistleblowers are set to testify before the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability as Republican lawmakers continue to investigate alleged international influence peddling by the Biden family.
The whistleblowers who will speak before the committee on July 19 are Gary Shapley, who served as IRS supervisory agent on the agency’s investigation into Hunter Biden’s tax affairs, and Whistleblower X, an IRS criminal investigator who has not yet been publicly identified.
“Since taking the gavel in January, the Committee on Oversight and Accountability has made rapid progress in our investigation into the Biden family’s domestic and international business dealings to determine whether these activities compromise U.S. national security and President Biden’s ability to lead with impartiality,” said Rep.
