Investigators obtain Biden financial records showing ‘transactions from Ukraine and Russia’: Oversight Chairman

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said during an interview this week that congressional investigators have obtained financial records that will allegedly show transactions from Russia to the Biden family.

Comer made the remarks during an interview this week on Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) “Verdict” podcast with co-host Ben Ferguson.

“I want to know what countries so far you can name for sure,” said Ferguson. “And there’s one country that hasn’t been talked about a lot — and that’s Russia.”

“Stay tuned,” Comer responded.

Cruz quickly interjected, “Stay tuned? You want to break news, but this a podcast, you gotta, you gotta show a little leg here, James.”

“We have more bank records that we’ve received,” Comer responded. “We’re working on a third memorandum. They will show transactions from Ukraine and Russia.”

WATCH:

Comer’s remarks come after Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) released an FBI-generated FD-1023 from legally protected disclosures by Justice Department whistleblowers.

The form showed that an FBI confidential human source (CHS) alleged that they were told by Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky that he was forced by the Biden family to pay a $10 million bribe in exchange for pressuring the Ukrainian government to fire prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma.

Zlochevsky allegedly told the FBI’s confidential human source that during a meeting in August 2016, it cost him “5 (million) to pay one Biden, and 5 (million) to another.”

Zlochevsky allegedly said that it was “too late to change his decision,” which CHS understood as meaning that Zlochevsky “already had paid the Bidens, presumably to ‘deal with Shokin.’”

An addendum to the report from June 2020 says that Zlochevsky told CHS that he had “17 recordings” involving his interactions, including two with Joe Biden. The other 15 were allegedly with Hunter Biden.

The recordings allegedly show evidence that Zlochevsky “was somehow coerced into paying the Bidens to ensure Ukraine Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin was fired.”
