Rivers United have arrived in Nigeria following their CAF Confederation Cup clash against Etoile Filante of Burkina Faso.
The Stanley Eguma’s held the Burkinabes to a 0-0 draw in the second-round first-leg clash.
The Pride of Rivers landed at the international wings of Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos, on Tuesday afternoon.
Rivers United arrived in the country at exactly 3:32 pm and were expected to connect a local flight to Port Harcourt to begin preparations for the return leg.
The second leg is billed for the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, on Sunday, October 1.
The winner of the encounter will progress to the group stage of the competition.
