We must stand firm against threats to Nigeria’s sovereign integrity – PSC Chairman, Arase

The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Dr Solomon Arase, has called for renewed vigour and inclusiveness in the fight against criminals to achieve the required results.

Ikechukwu Ani, Head, Press and Public Relations, in a statement on Sunday, said Arase stated this at the International Symposium on countering organized crimes in Africa held in Abuja.

He enjoined all to rise and stand firm against those who threaten “the sovereign integrity of the Nigerian State”, adding that no security agency can deliver on its mandate without the support of the people.

Represented by Barr. Brighten Saagwe, Director, Planning, Research and Statistics of the Commission, Arase said, “our will, therefore, must be strong because our faith lies in the indivisibility of Nigeria.”
