Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) snapped at an ABC News reporter questioning the top Democrat about President Joe Biden’s capability to be the party’s 2024 nominee.
Walking the halls of Congress, Pelosi sarcastically asked the reporter, Rachel Scott, if she was “speaking English,” trying her best to get Scott to stop asking her about the president.
“I’m not having any discussions with you, or anyone else, about what I talk to the president about, with all due respect,” Pelosi told Scott. “I’m not going to be making any comments today, in the hallway, about the fate of our nation, okay?”
Scott pressed Pelosi further, asking, “Are you concerned whether or not he can win in November?”
Pelosi said she thought Democrats could win in November and tried to shake the reporter before Scott asked if she believed Biden should be the party’s nominee.
