We Are Doing A Lot To Address Hunger, Access To Drugs – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has outlined some of the efforts being put in place to drive down food prices.

The President who was speaking in a nationwide broadcast in response to the #EndHardship protest by Youth against soaring food inflation across the country.

The President said import duties will be suspended on food items such as Rice, Wheat and some others for a period of 6 months in the first instance.

He added that Fertilisers and Other farm inputs will be distributed while farm mechanisation equipment like planters, harvesters and Others have been ordered from Belarus, Brazil and the United States.

He also disclosed that Drugs and Other Pharmaceutical products will have duties suspended to address the issue of soaring inflation and ensure Nigerians have access to affordable healthcare.
