Plateau state Governor, Caleb Mutfwang has distributed over 100 motorcycles, along with raincoats and boots, to security agencies in the state.
The gesture is aimed at improving surveillance and operational efficiency across rural communities in the 17 council areas of the state.
Some communities in Plateau State have suffered series of invasions that have led to the loss of lives and property in recent times.
Governor Caleb Muftwang, upon assumption of office, pledged to do all within his power to tackle the menace of insecurity that keeps reoccurring in some communities.
In keeping.to his promise, Over 100 motorcycles, and other items have been distributed to security operatives by the state governor.
The move is part of a broader strategy to empower security personnel, help them navigate difficult terrain, and protect locals
The operatives of the Nigeria Police, Immigration Service, Civil Defense, and Operation Rainbow are the beneficiaries of the gesture.
