West Bromwich Albion forward, Josh Maja, hopes to score more goals for the Baggies after netting a hat-trick against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
The Nigerian scored all three of Albion’s goals in the 3-1 victory at the MATRADE Loftus Road Stadium.
Maja powered in two impressive headers, with other goal an acrobatic finish from inside the box.
The forward barely featured for West Brom last season due to injury.
He, however, believes the hat-trick is just the start of “something special.”
“I’m really happy to have scored three goals and be available, especially because last season was a tough year for me.
“We’re starting fresh. I’m fit and available, which is a blessing. Hopefully, there are many more goals and wins to come.
“I was in the right place at the right time and I was clinical.
“I think the second header was my favourite. That type of finish isn’t something I’m known for doing, but I’ve managed to add it to my game.”
