They don’t give Oscars for trolling, but if they did, Glenn Close might be the odds-on favorite for a statuette based on her work this past weekend.
“Eve would have left a bleeding mouse head in the bed of anyone who criticized any kind of lady with a CAT!” she wrote as the photo’s caption.
Although Close was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress for the film, reviews were mostly terrible. One of Vance’s friends from Yale, Jamil Jivani, told The Washington Post that the bad reviews caused Vance to reject the opinions of “elites” moving forward.
HuffPost reached out to Vance’s campaign for comment on Close’s Instagram post, but no one immediately responded.
