Viewers of The Repair Shop were left in tears on Wednesday as 12-year-old Colin was emotionally reunited with his cherished cat toy, Jess.
Colin, who was born with several serious health conditions, has endured countless hospital visits throughout his life, however, he always found comfort in his beloved cuddly cat, Jess.
However, Jess had also seen better days. The toy had been by Colin’s side through every challenge, bearing its own ‘battle scars’, including tracheotomy and stoma incisions that mirrored Colin’s own medical experiences.
In desperate need of repair, Colin’s adoptive family turned to the experts at The Repair Shop to restore his beloved toy.
Specialists Amanda Middleditch and Julie Tatchell took on the task of giving Jess a much-needed makeover.
