A few years ago, I could not have imagined that one day I would be sitting at a desk in Bucharest, looking at my new Romanian passport. But life often takes unexpected turns. I have always been interested in the origin of my family. Ever since I was a child, I heard stories about my grandfather, who once left Romania to start a new life in Turkey. These stories are deeply imprinted in my memory, but it was only with time that I realized I wanted to reconnect with my historical homeland.
