A former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has said that no governor in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, can say he (Wike) is an outsider in the party.
Wike, who stated this in an interview on Channels Television’s on Friday, insisted that no man born of a woman can refer to him as an outsider.
Addressing the cliam that he’s a mole in the party with one leg in APC, Wike, who is the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, said he wrote the party before taking up the appointment.
“There is nobody, no governor today in the PDP; nobody born of a woman can say I’m an outsider in the PDP. Who?
“See, before I take up the appointment, I wrote the PDP leadership.”
DAILY POST recalls that Wike, during the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, congress in Rivers State, threatened to set fire in states governed by the PDP should their governors interfere in the Rivers political imbroglio.
