Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has said both Riccardo Calafiori and Ben White are in contention to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Calafiori has started all three of the Gunners’ recent games in all competitions.
But the Italian defender appeared to jar his knee during the 4-2 win over Leicester City on Sunday.
Arteta has had a few injury concerns in defence since the start of the season. One of them being Ben White, who has missed Arsenal’s last two matches against Bolton and Leicester City due to a groin problem.
Speaking to the media on Monday, Arteta said: “Those are the two players (Calafiori and White) that are in contention (for the PSG match) and we have to review today. We didn’t do any training sessions yesterday.
When specifically asked about Calafiori, Arteta said: “He was a bit emotional after the game. Let’s see how he is today.”
