Rooney Mara made a rare appearance with her husband Joaquin Phoenix at the Hollywood premiere of his movie Joker: Folie à Deux, which was held at the TCL Chinese Theater on Monday.
The 39-year-old actress – who reportedly changed her surname to Phoenix in 2020 – decided not to pose on the black carpet with the 49-year-old Oscar winner but she, nevertheless, showed her support for his project.
Joaquin just confirmed Rooney (born Patricia) was his ‘wife’ during Sunday’s episode of Sam Fragaso’s podcast Talk Easy.
Mara welcomed their second child in June, and she dressed her post-baby body in a multi-strapped black tea-length dress and ankle strap pumps selected by stylist Ryan Hastings.
