The Caretaker Committee Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Tony Okocha, on Saturday lamented that party is under attack in the state.
Okocha’s statement comes after explosions rocked the party’s secretariat in Port Harcourt.
The APC chieftain who spoke after inspecting the destroyed secretariat, called on the Federal Government and the International community to look into the plight of the party and provide security for its members.
He complained that the attack on the Secretariat occurred following the refusal of the state government to obey court orders.
Okocha said, “APC is under attack in Rivers State and this attack is unnecessary and uncalled for. We reminded Nigerians that there is a court judgement. It is a court order in a matter that passed through the processes.
