THE 2024 Annual Educare Trust oratory contest revealed the gems who are in public secondary schools in Oyo State.
With many people writing off students from public schools, the Educare Trust specifically focuses on providing opportunities for these students to thrive.
Speaking during the grand finale of the contest, the Programme Director of Educare Trust, Mr Raphael Afeyodion, said, supported by Bono Energy and other organisations, the annual oratory contest is aimed at bringing out the best in students of public secondary schools in Ibadan.
“We know that students from public schools do not really have different opportunities, and that is why Educare Trust is trying to build their capacities through the oratory contest and other activities,” Afeyodion said.
