Erik Ten Hag has been sacked as the Coach of Manchester United with immediate effect.
The first dismissal of the 54 year old Dutchman comes after a loss to West Ham United in the English Premier League on Sunday.
It follows on the back of an atrocious run of form that has seen the club in the lower half of the league despite a summer outlay on players of over 200 Million pounds.
He was appointed in March 2022 and has won both domestic cup competitions, the Carabao and FA Cup.
Former United Striker and Dutch International, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, who was appointed as his assistant over the summer will now act as interim manager for the foreseeable future.
Chief Executive, Omar Berrada, is reportedly in talks to avoid former Barcelona Midfielder and Coach, Xavi Hernandes Creus, as the replacement for the former Ajax coach.
His position as coach had come under intense scrutiny for the better part of a year with constant speculations on his future dogging every little misstep by the team.
