Ohanaeze Tackles Rep Over Road Allegation Claims Against Umahi

Apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has warned a member of the House of Representatives, Hon Remi Oseni, to desist from the campaign of calumny against the Minister of Works, David Umahi.

Ohanaeze expressed dismay over the allegation of the deplorable conditions of the nation’s federal roads.

Naija News reports that Remi, representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency of Oyo State, had during the House committee hearing on Thursday claimed that Umahi has failed to effectively address the widespread issue of deteriorating roads throughout the nation.

However, reacting to the allegation on Monday via a statement by its factional Secretary-General, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, Ohanaeze said such assertions are not only misguided but also represent an egregious mischaracterization of the Minister’s diligent efforts in infrastructure development.
