Kogi govt spends N2.6bn to execute over 170 community projects

The Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) has announced the completion of over 170 projects across communities in the state’s three senatorial districts within four months, at a cost of ₦2.6 billion.

The General Manager of the agency, Chief Dauda Momoh, disclosed this on Friday during an interview in his office, part of activities marking his birthday. He attributed the agency’s achievements to the support of the Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, particularly through the prompt release of funds and logistical backing.

He noted that the agency successfully overcame various challenges, including difficult terrains, to complete the projects. These initiatives, he said, are expected to have a significant positive impact on the lives of community members.
