The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Olayide Adelami, has exercised his civic rights during the state’s ongoing governorship election.
Naija News reports that Adelami voted at his designated polling station, Igboroko 2, Ward 3 Unit 16, in the Owo local government area.
At approximately 9:40 AM, Adelami joined a line of voters awaiting accreditation and subsequently stood alongside his family members to fulfil his voting responsibility.
In a conversation with reporters following his participation in the electoral process, the Deputy Governor urged the residents of Owo and the broader state populace to engage in the voting process actively.
“Your vote is your power. I urge you all to come out to vote. In so doing, you will be contributing to the promotion of good governance and a greater Ondo state” Adelami charged.
He is deputising Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) platform.
