President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Wife, the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu have departed Nigeria for France on a State Visit.
Naija News reports that Tinubu and Remi were invited by President Emmanuel Macron and his Wife, H.E Brigitte Macron.
Tinubu and the First lady will be received at the 350-year-old French military museum, Les Invalides and Palais de l’Élysée, by Macron and his spouse, Brigitte, for initial ceremonies that will dovetail into bilateral meetings.
In a statement on Tuesday, Tinubu’s Media Aide, Bayo Onanuga, said the visit would focus on strengthening political, economic, and cultural relations and establishing more partnership opportunities, particularly in agriculture, security, education, health, youth engagement and employment, innovation, and energy transition, which promises significant benefits for Nigeria.
Onanuga added that the French leader would host Tinubu and his wife at a state dinner before departure.
