The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu and the Minister of State for Finance, Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite, have congratulated Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on her re-election as World Trade Organization (WTO) Director General.
Naija News reported that on Friday, Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala made history as the first black person and first black woman to be elected and re-elected to lead the WTO.
They described the former Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy under former President Goodluck Jonathan, as an outstanding woman with visionary leadership qualities.
Benjamin Kalu hailed Okonjo-Iweala’s tireless efforts in advancing global trade reforms and promoting global economic development.
