The Special Committee of the House of Representatives on the review of the 1999 Constitution says it will hold a national dialogue on local government autonomy.
Chairman of the Constitution review Committee, Benjamin Kalu, also says 161 amendment bills were gotten from across Nigeria.
Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu says the Committee is engaging with the Nigeria Governors Forum on key bills, such as to reserve seats for women and other gender-related legislation, local government autonomy, and the proposed establishment of state police.
