People of Isanlu-Isin community in the lsin local government area of Kwara state are set to celebrate fourth Ajokogun Fiesta, a cultural extravaganza that showcases the community’s rich history and heritage.
The fourth Ajokogun Fiesta, themed, “Unity for Development” is scheduled to take place on December 30, 2024 and expected to attract visitors from across the country.
Speaking with journalists alongside members of the community, the chairman of the 2024 Ajokogun Organizing Committee, Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo, he said that the fiesta is a celebration of the community’s unique culture and history.
“Our community has a rich and fascinating history and the Ajokogun Fiesta is a way for us to share that with the world”, he said, adding that the event promised to be an exciting event, with a range of activities including cultural exhibitions, traditional dances, and a display of local cuisine.
