The 8th African Nations Championship is gearing up to be an exciting tournament, with Nigeria’s Super Eagles B Team drawn into Group D alongside Senegal, Sudan, and the Republic of Congo.
Originally scheduled for 2024, the tournament has been rescheduled to August 2025, but it will still take place in the three East African nations: Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda, which are co-hosting the event.
The draw for the group stage was conducted on Wednesday evening, January 15, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi.
In this draw, joint-hosts Kenya emerged as the head of Group A, which also comprises strong teams such as Morocco, Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Zambia. In what promises to be an electrifying opener, Kenya will face off against 2018 champions Morocco.
