Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa, popularly called Mohbad, has expressed his frustrations regarding his relationship with Mohbad’s wife and son, as well as the handling of the legal proceedings surrounding his son’s death.
In an interview with Silverbird TV aired on Friday, Aloba stated that he has not seen Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, or their son, Liam, since his son’s passing, adding that it was not his responsibility to go to them.
He said, “I’ve not seen Mohbad’s wife and son since his death. Even my son, Adura, none of them came to me. They know where I’m living. They are supposed to come to me. The way I’m looking at things, they are supposed to bring that child to me and say, ‘This is your grandson.”
