Zamfara: Bandits abduct two in Jangeru 24 hours after Turji’s group attacked worshippers

Barely 24 hours after a deadly attack on worshippers in Zamfara State, suspected bandits have returned to Jangeru community, abducting two residents on Thursday night.

A Northwest-based security analyst, Bakatsine, confirmed the incident in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday.

“Last night, bandits return to Jangeru community and abducted two people.

“This is coming barely 24hrs after Bello Turji’s group attacked worshippers in the community, where they killed, injured and kidnapped several people,” he wrote.

Recall that on Wednesday night, notorious Bandit, Bello Turji and his band of armed assailants launched a violent assault on a mosque in Shanawa community, Zamfara State, leaving several worshippers injured and abducting an unknown number of individuals.
