Trinity University, Yaba, Lagos, will, on Friday, 22nd March, graduate a new set of students (122 in total) across various disciplines, of whom 28 (representing 22.95%) achieved First Class honours.
The university will also matriculate a new cohort of students, totalling 554, across disciplines under the 2024/2025 academic session.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Clement Kolawole, stated this at a pre-convocation press conference held on campus on Monday.
According to him, this year’s convocation is particularly special, as the university will be graduating its first set of Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science students.
He noted that the university was established in 2019 with nine pioneering students and has so far graduated 194 students across various disciplines. The student population has also grown to approximately 2,000.
