The Managing Director, Society for Family Health (SFH), Dr Omokhudu Idogha says poetry is an instrument of change that must be taken seriously for a better society.
Idogha said this on Saturday in Jalingo, when he joined secondary school students to celebrate the 2025 World Poetry Day with a poetry recitation competition among schools.
Represented by Aisha Dadi, the M-D noted that this year’s celebration with the theme ‘Poetry as a Bridge for Peace and Inclusion’ emphasised the power of words in fostering unity, harmony and peace in the society.
