Floyd Mayweather's new protégé Curmel Moton won his second professional fight in slightly strange circumstances on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

The 17-year-old is highly rated as one of the USA's best young talents and showed this when he won his first fight back in September.

However, both of his first and second pro contests have taken place place as walkout bouts.

Moton's first win was part of the Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo card, but happened after the main event.

And his second victory again came after David Benavidez's stoppage win over Demetrius Andrade on Saturday night.

The reason for this is likely that the organisers had no space to fit it on the main broadcast.

Therefore, fans had to watch on social media as Mayweather Promotions streamed the fight on Instagram live, but it was not shown on TV so many missed it.

They did not miss too much action though, as it was all over inside round one.

Moton came out fast and floored his opponent Hunter Turbyfill in the early stages.

The journeyman made it back to his feet, but was soon down again from a body shot and this time the fight was waved off by the referee.

Moton was declared the victor by first-round knockout.

He will likely return to the ring soon as he continues to build experience in his boxing journey.
