Reports on the 31 passengers abducted during an attack on the train station in Igueben, Edo state dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.
The Nation reports that Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said his government would be for all Nigerians irrespective of religion and tribe. The newspaper says the cash withdrawal limits placed on individuals and companies by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will come into effect today.
The Punch says soldiers, police personnel and vigilantes are currently tracking the abductors of no fewer than 31 train passengers who were whisked away from the Tom Ikimi Train Station, Igueben, Edo state.
