One in 100 police officers in England and Wales faced criminal charges last year, according to The Observer. An investigation by the paper has reportedly found that the number of criminal charges levied against officers has risen by 590% since 2012.

The Sunday Mirror splashes on a plea from an 11-year-old Ukrainian boy to the prime minister asking him to reunite him with his dad in the UK. His case is allegedly caught up among 9,400 cases the Home Office is currently processing.

The Sunday Telegraph leads on the news that the PM is set to scrap Boris Johnson’s Northern Ireland Protocol Bill as part of his new deal with the EU. Rishi Sunak is said to believe he has clinched vital legal changes that would make the bill redundant.
