The PUNCH: Following the controversy trailing the Tax Reforms Bills, President Bola Tinubu has directed the Ministry of Justice to work closely with the National Assembly to address the concerns raised by Nigerians. The President, who is in South Africa, handed down the review order on Tuesday as some northern youths stormed the National Assembly in support of the bills


The Guardian: Over 100,000 motorists who converted their fuel-powered vehicles to compressed natural gas (CNG) are now enduring long queues nationwide as they compete at scanty stations to refill their cars. With only about 34 CNG stations available across the country while motorists move to convert their vehicles to run-on gas to reduce the astronomical costs of petrol, approximately 870 vehicles are currently tied to a station.


The Nation: Manufacturers joined forces yesterday with advocates of tax reforms on the passage of the Tax Reforms Bills before the National Assembly. Outspoken Catholic Bishop, Hassan Matthew Kukah, also supported the bills, thereby swelling the ranks of those backing the Bola Tinubu administration’s bold move for fiscal transformation.
