Trapped pilot and passenger 'alive' in crashed plane dangling from power line

Two people are trapped inside a plane after it crashed into an electricity pylon and became precariously trapped there 100 feet from the ground.

The small plane was left stuck in the power line after a collision that occurred at around 5.30pm local time on Sunday, in Montgomery, Maryland, Alabama.

Two occupants were reported to be alive inside the single-engine Mooney Mike 20P plane, which collided with a high-tension power line tower in the Maryland area and left tens of thousands without power.
