A 23-year-old pregnant woman simply identified as Osaretin, has been reportedly killed by her husband who is now on the run.
The incident reportedly happened in Egba community, Ikpoba-Okha local government area of Edo State.
Father of the deceased, Mr. Samuel Adun, gave the name of his fleeing son-in-law simply as Inuaghata.
The distraught father who spoke to journalists in Benin City, disclosed that the fleeing suspect killed his daughter by using a knife to slit her throat.
He added that his daughter had already given birth to three children for her husband.
