Like many, Olawale Mumuney, a private school teacher, believes children are a gift from God.

So, when his wife bore him triplets on March 13, he was full of gratitude to God for His priceless gift.

But there is a snag, having had three children earlier, he does not have the financial muscle to properly take care of his new babies owing to his paltry salary.

According to him, his wife, Funke, and his triplets are currently in separate wards at Ifako General Hospital in Lagos.

For Mumuney, deserting his family because of the gift of God shouldn’t be an option.

Speaking on why he needs the intervention members of the public, he said: “We really need the financial support of people in taking care of our God-given triplets. My family is going through a lot of challenges. We were issued a notice to quit where we currently live, even before our babies arrived. Also,we are facing the challenge of hospital bills. We have borrowed money to clear some debts. My wife is a POS operator. I’m a classroom teacher in a private school. We had three children before the triplets. My income is currently very low. I beg Nigerians to support me. I buy two cans of food weekly. But I can’t run away because they are God’s blessings. I wanted just one but He gave me three. “
