A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to remove Sunrise Power and Transmission Company Ltd’s promoter, Leno Adesanya, from its list of wanted persons.
The order was issued in a fundamental rights enforcement suit filed by Adesanya and his firm against the EFCC, the Federal Ministry of Power and Steel, the Federal Government of Nigeria, and the Attorney General of the Federation.
The court emphasized the importance of respecting the integrity of the ongoing arbitral proceedings, based on the United Nations Conventions on International Dispute Resolutions.
